Burger King introduces a frightfully wealthy duo in new Lamb Burger campaign via Colenso BBDO
Colenso BBDO has teamed up with Finch director Nick Ball to create two frightfully wealthy characters who can’t get enough of Burger King’s new Lamb Burger, part of Burger King’s King Collection.
Set at a booth in Burger King, Sir Roger Poppincock and Baron von Cravat discuss how awfully new, terribly delicious and jolly top-notch the new Lamb Burger is. The campaign includes outdoor, radio, 1 x 30″ and 1 x 15″ TVC plus web only video content.
Says Levi Slavin, creative director, Colenso BBDO: “When I first met Sir Roger Poppincock and Baron von Cravat I was blown away. I’d never met anyone who had actually dated the Queen. Now I’m fortunate enough to know two. We look forward to many more gold-plated adventures as the two represent Burger King’s premium range in 2014.”
Says James Woodbridge, GM marketing, Burger King: “Sir Roger & The Baron place a whole new focus on BK premium burgers. Lambs should be scared.”

I say what
Premium range…shame concept doesn’t match.
This is jizztastic.
Utter, utter, utter balderdash
Puts Hungry Jacks work to shame. Funny nonsense. GOod.
Utterly fantastic retail advertising. Someone’s getting richer off this.
IS THAT A GUN !!!! ?!! !!!
‘Rich Person Laugh’. Fabulous.
Sure beats a close up of a rotating burger with a 1950s ABC voice over telling us that ‘it’s a little bit fancy’.
And not let’s start on Hungry Jacks – placed last out of a very average bunch.
Fizzer.
great writing, great directing, great silly nonsense
Brilliant – best ad. I’ve seen in years. Couldn’t quite believe my ears when it screened on t.v..
