In this video, Canon challenges photographers to think outside the box when approaching a subject, no matter how exciting or mundane it is. To prove that inspiration can be found everywhere, Canon gave six photographers everyday objects and one simple rule: Nobody shoots the same photo twice.

The director, Chris Ireland, pushed the photographers to their limits, not allowing them to step down until they had completely reimaged the object.

The launch of Evolution follows the unprecedented reception of Canon Australia’s first video (it received over 3.6 million views in just two weeks), titled ‘Decoy’, and is the second in a six part series of photography experiments – three videos of which are being published – highlighting Canon’s shifting focus into branded content.
