D&AD sets up presence in Australia with 32 Degrees South Group’s Paula Taylor at the helm
D&AD exists to inform, educate and inspire those who work in and around the creative industries globally. After an exceptionally strong year for the Australian creative industries at D&AD, the internationally renowned organisation is establishing a presence in Australia.
Former D&AD Awards director and Australian-based director of 32 Degrees South Group, Paula Taylor (pictured) has been appointed D&AD’s international representative in Australia.
Says Tim Lindsay, CEO of D&AD: “Australia is a very important place for D&AD. The work is great and we look forward to developing a proper presence and serving the Australian design and advertising community.”
Taylor will be responsible for promoting the D&AD Awards, events, membership and professional development programmes throughout Australia. She will also have a remit for developing D&AD’s New Blood programmes within Australia, which provide a vital link into industry for emerging talent, ultimately helping recent graduates launch their careers.

Um why? We have Award why would we need D&AD here.
Agree. And award these days is harder to win than d&ad. The only difference is its not a truly international competition.
