DDB promotes Adam Rose to CD on McDonald’s
Marty O’Halloran, CEO and Chairman of DDB Australia and New Zealand, today announced the promotion of Adam Rose to Creative Director, McDonald’s. O’Halloran also revealed the addition of Mango to the integrated DDB Group McDonald’s team.
“With the addition of Mango to lead national MarComm campaigns, we are now able to offer McDonald’s an even more integrated approach across both Australian & New Zealand markets. Working together side by side, DDB, Tribal DDB and now Mango will present an exciting new level of campaign implementation for McDonald’s. And with big ideas being led by Adam Rose, we are sure to see a new generation of campaign development for the brand,” said O’Halloran.
Previously Creative Group Head, Adam Rose has been promoted to DDB Group Creative Director, McDonald’s. “Adam has been an instrumental member of the McDonald’s team over the past few years. He’s played a key role in delivering outstanding, insightful campaigns under the McDonald’s ‘Moments’ campaign as well as receiving global acclaim on the creative work developed in Australia and New Zealand” says Matt Eastwood, National Creative Director and Vice Chairman of the DDB Australia Group.
O’Halloran said: “DDB Group and McDonald’s have developed a very strong partnership, and we have worked closely to create and successfully develop the McDonald’s brand in Australia. The partnership has grown over the past few years, from DDB creating a few campaigns to McDonald’s appointing DDB their lead agency, and the addition of Mango and promotion of Adam Rose showcases the continued growth of the partnership as we look to continue developing more integrated campaigns across Australia and New Zealand.”

Congrats Rosey. Good to see your talents at flogging meat being put to use.
Thought you’d been CD for the last couple of years???
Congrats anyway. One of the nicest and hardest working people around.

Onya Rosey. Bloody well deserved.
Adam has been CD on Maccas for the past 2 years now.
Good to see O’Halloran and Eastwood are finally acknowledging it in writing.
Is this release about 2 years old?
Yeah, I thought he was already CD.
So does everyone at Maccas.
Solid worker and a stud to boot. What a package.
With teeth like that you should be working on Macleans not McDonald’s.
do you have to be extremely good looking to work at DDB?
A. Rose amongst thorns.
Woo Rosey. We all know you’ve been doing the CD work for years. I hope you’ve been given a massive payrise and maybe even your own writer???? Tell Mick and Debbie I say hi xxxx
I loved you in The Hangover.
Congratulations Adam.
Thoroughly, thoroughly deserved.
You are Bradley Cooper.
When will these bigger agencies learn that recognizing achievement and actually promoting people is counterproductive? In no time he will start thinking he is worth something and asking for more money. At which point the cost of getting him to do the same work as he was doing before will rise, with no guarantee of improved productivity. Surely they would be better served by ignoring or at least playing down his successes while at the same time focussing on some or all of his potential negatives? Crushing his self-esteem and breaking his deeply-held belief about natural justice in this way would leave him emotionally-shattered and with little option but to continue in his original position. A little bit bitter perhaps, but a whole lot more determined to prove those guys wrong on the next campaign. Increasing his productivity at no extra cost. Works a treat at our place.
Congratulations Officer Big Mac! Love ya!
Congrats Rosey – I mean you’ve been doing the job for years its nice now that you offically have the title and some more cash. You are a star and we would be lost without you. Well done

Burnsy.
I remember when he was one half the the Zoolanders? Who was the other one? Hair was of major importance to Adam back then…..Anyone….Anyone……
2:04PM.
Yeah the Creative Director at the time hated Zoolander with a passion.
Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson can be such smug bastards.
Hey but back to the point, the hair? Meh, it’s a Melbourne thing.
Rosey! Congratulations mate. Not sure what you’ll be doing that you haven’t been for the last couple of years, but I’m sure it’ll be good.
Glad it’s finally been recognised.
Looking forward to seeing what you do next.
