With over 30% of judging complete, 154 entries have been selected to go into the D&AD Annual – representing the best creative work of the year. Of these, 32 have been nominated for a D&AD Pencil. The winners will be announced at the D&AD Awards Ceremony & Dinner on 3 June at The Roundhouse, London.
So far, Australia has only 5 entries In Book and New Zealand has one.
Nomination and In-Book results have been released for:
“We’ve shown that even a volcano can’t stop Judging from going ahead -an event that really showed the industry’s commitment to D&AD, withpeople driving across Europe and changing their schedules at very shortnotice to be here,’ said D&AD President Paul Brazier.
“There’salso been speculation about the impact of the recession on creativity. From what I’ve seen so far, though, this all couldn’t be further fromthe truth. Maybe it’s because creatives are used to turning negativesinto positives, but right now I’d say that great creativity is winningthe day against the forces of the economy and nature.”

Well done DDB – They’re the only radio ads I actively turn up to listen to.
And well done Monkeys, loved the moon week ad.
In fact, well done everyone. Merry Christmas.
David The Situation rides again!
Way to go Monkeys! But I reckon it’s just the first of many for you guys this awards season…
When they say that 30% have been judged, does this mean there more categories to come, or more winners in these categories?
I like the McDonald’s ads too. They give me a giggle.
jesus i am not paying to enter that anymore.
Luke Lucas from Lifelounge is a typographic Jesus. There, I said it.
