Foxtel and Fox Sports reappoints TBWA Sydney following final pitch against Clems Melbourne
TBWA Sydney has been appointed as the retained agency for both Foxtel and Fox Sports after a final competitive pitch against Clemenger BBDO Melbourne.
It is the first time a single creative agency will handle both the Foxtel and Fox sports accounts.
The decision to align both Foxtel and Fox Sports with one agency is a key part of the strategy going forward.
Says Rob Farmer, director of brand marketing – content and products, Foxtel: “It’s incredibly important for us to be united in how we go to market and, ultimately, it’s all part of the Foxtel platform and so we think we are stronger together and we are really excited about having this alignment.”
TBWA CEO Paul Bradbury has said the agency is very excited to be working with both Foxtel and Fox Sports.
TBWA will continue to work with Foxtel’s internal agency, Felix.

Can’t wait for Date Night sequel
Can’t wait for another third person V/o script out of Whybins.
I mean TBWA
Foxtel wants to make retail. And Clems Melbourne is, well, Clems Melbourne.
I wanna see more awkward Hemsworth moments. Congrats Whybins. Well done.
Since when did the press release need to mention the loser? I suppose it is Clems Melbourne, so they will want to work that angle, but still. It is a little odd…and bad taste – particularly if the press release came from the winner…
