Foxtel launches major new campaign ‘Make it Yours’ via Whybin\TBWA Sydney and Felix
Whybin\TBWA Sydney and Foxtel’s in house creative agency, Felix, have launched a major new campaign for Foxtel. Dubbed ‘Make it Yours’, the new marketing push celebrates the wonderful ways subscribers can enjoy the unrivalled breadth and depth of the world’s best programming available on Foxtel.
Whether we watch on the couch, on the bus, in the restaurant, or even in the bathroom, Australian’s are embracing Foxtel’s content as part of the fabric of their everyday lives.
Not only are everyone’s programming tastes different, but so is their behaviour when it comes to how they enjoy the content they love.
The integrated campaign includes a 2-minute cinema blockbuster to launch the upcoming season 6 of ‘Game of Thrones’, as well as five other film executions; and digital, print and social activations. The campaign kicked off on Sunday 20 March and will continue its rollout over the coming months.
Says Paul Bradbury, CEO, Whybin\TBWA: “We are immensely proud of this first campaign that launches a new long term platform idea for Foxtel. The spirit of collaboration and creative excellence working with the Foxtel marketing team and Felix has been evident from our very first meeting.”
Says Rob Farmer, director of content marketing, Foxtel: “It’s a lesser known fact that every customer can stream Foxtel anytime, anywhere, via our Anytime menu and Go app. Our unmatched investment in content also means that we offer the widest selection of the world’s best new shows, from home and abroad. It’s exciting to launch a long term campaign that can bring all these benefits beyond sport to life. We’ve had a lot of fun making it with the Whybin’s team.”

Bloody awesome work, well done C&M!
Tango. Like exactly. Guys if you’re going to copy something try and make it a little more obscure.
These spots are top shelf!
Familiar and the Karen spot only really flogs content that will make you fall asleep, bit the rest.
Nice work fellas! Killed it!
world class chaps !
Epic. So good.
love love love love love.
Nailed it guys – awesome work!
Ummm, did “2min date” just ruin GOT for any new viewers….. pretty risky for Foxtel.
Like it though, just showing a lot content key moments.
I will destroy my Foxtel IQ box.
Bloody well done to all involved.
Fantastic.
Gold.
Brilliant.
Some familiar techniques, but also some lovely writing. Overall, nice work, on a difficult client.
Good idea, but the craft on these is terrible
Captures exactly what it means, and what it is like to be obsessed with a great story/tv show. Critics get out of the cheap seats and leave the arena because Ball NAILED IT and you know it.
Foxtel work is always so disappointing. There is so much potential to make great work for the brand but it is always ordinary.
Really enjoyed those, nice work folks.
Boring.
I read ‘2 minute version’ and thought – shit, another extended agency cut, hrmph hrmph and blah.
Laughed the whole way through. The reactions to some of the major plot points are hilarious, especially if you’re a fan.
The other spots, wasn’t sure about them to be honest. But 2 min GOT won me over.
Great work boys
nice work fam.. coupla great lols in there
because you wont do anything better than this!
Great stuff.
Brilliant work guys.
Netflix might be one step ahead…again.

If you gush enough about it you might just fool a few idiots into thinking the work you did was good. Unfortunately, such attempts are hugely transparent. So please. Stop. It’s embarrassing.
Punters already love ’em (read the Facebook boards).
And Big CDs all over town will be putting the Creatives’ names in their mental Rolodex while the sad, hating trolls on this page get back to their shelf wobbler & SMH page takeover briefs.
Great scripts handled with deft class. Foxtel must be chuffed.
These are hilarious.
A great summary of Australian advertising. Search YouTube, find some other campaigns, hack them together and sell it to a client who has no idea what happens in the world outside its own brand.
Sad..
EAD you jaded c*nt.
You just ripped off the Netflix Binge work.
Short walk and handshake as they say.
Whybin has to be hottest agency in town by a long way.
so fucking jealous.
These are tops. Nice one.
Take a bit of this:

And you’ve got a tasty blend.
Great work lads. I don’t think you missed a single major spoiler in the GoT spot.
Foxtel is a notoriously difficult client. These spots are awesome. Well done.
@ At Reality .. Truth hurt did it?
outstanding.
Made me smile.
60 second date spot is even better than the 2 minute if you ask me.
Nice.
‘Make it yours’…. sounds like what Whybin NZ has done for ANZ NZ no?!
Hilarious…best casting I’ve seen in a long time.
