Jog My Dog takes lead on Christmas dog obesity in a new poster campaign via Draftfcb, Sydney
Sydney Eastern Suburbs dog walking company Jog My Dog has launched a new interactive park poster campaign to reduce the increase in puppy pooches this Christmas.
Says Shauna Laverty, Jog My Dog founder: “It’s party time for dogs as they’re inevitably hand fed turkey and ham under the Christmas lunch table by well meaning families but like everything in life, there’s a price to pay. That’s where jogmydog.com.au comes in to play (literally).”
To raise Jog My Dog’s profile to Sydney dog owners, Draftfcb has created interactive park posters that demonstrate the benefits of their dog walking services while putting their contact info into consumers hands.
Says Simon Edwards, creative director of Draftfcb Sydney: “Shauna came to us with an issue we just couldn’t ignore. We’ve all seen obese dogs and turned away with embarrassment, so we were happy to do our bit to fight this problem, because let’s face it, it’s a growing one.”

Seems like a legit brief to me. Definitely not scam.
Has ‘Jog my Dog’ got Draft on retainer? I heard it was a big 3-way shootout for the account with JVM and Sterling Cooper Draper Price.
“Shauna came to us with an issue we just couldn’t ignore.”
‘Holy shit guys, people will overfeed their dogs come Xmas. We can not ignore this. It’s terrible.
Of course, it’s very tactical. The holiday period, when everyone actually doesn’t have work commitments and can spend time with their famiily is strangely the peak time they’re looking to pay someone to walk their dog.
seems totally legit.
Dig this idea. As a designer and dog walking comp owner I really like this ad. Brilliant.
I’m into it. Clever and simple.
well done, sphinct.
