MADC Star winners to get some real metal; Sole sponsor Finch to give away a Mitsubishi Mirage

newcar.jpgNext Thursday night the MADC Star winners will receive a ton of metal – literally.  It’s a brand new Mitsubishi Mirage. Courtesy of this year’s sole sponsor Finch, one lucky agency can just delete the Uber app, throw away the taxi vouchers and enjoy the freedom and relative luxury of Australia’s least expensive motor vehicle.

Packed with amazing features like seats and a steering wheel, and with an awe inspiring 1.2 litre 3 cylinder engine, the winning creative team will be the envy of every agency in town as they buzz straight to the next recording session at speeds approaching the legal limit.

The annual MADC Star award for the best idea out of Melbourne is perhaps the only slightly serious moment in what is largely an irreverent and completely social event, known as the MADC After Party. It’s the night where everybody wins. Last year the DDB guys enjoyed transport of a different kind thanks to the generous sponsorship of Mr Smith. Flight and tickets to SXSW for the creative team was a seriously good way to kick off the award.
