Melbourne digital strategist Zac Martin launches crowd-funding campaign for new beer product
Zac Martin, digital strategist at CumminsRoss, Melbourne this week launched a crowd-funding campaign for an idea he calls the Beerend and describes as “like a bookend for your beer”.
“It simply clips into your fridge shelf, and allows you to store more beer in less space,” says Martin.
The campaign, currently at 19% of its $17,500 funding goal, is hosted on Melbourne-based website Pozible, a crowd-funding site similar to KickStarter.
People can pledge in exchange for a Beerend and other rewards, and their pledge is only debited if the campaign is successful in reaching its goal over the next 25 days.

I saw an invention like that about a year ago on a British show called the Dragons Den, a reality show where people pitch their inventions.
Considering 99% of fridges come with glass shelves these days, I don’t see how this can go wrong…
Good to see you’re back Zack!
@Josh and the other 1% use the fridge door.
