Only 30 campaigns have made the cut at the shortlist stage of the Titanium & Integrated Lions, including two from Australia: Metro Trains ‘Dumb Ways to Die’ via McCann Melbourne and Coca-Cola ‘Small World Machines’ via Leo Burnett, Sydney/Leo Burnett, Chicago.
Draft FCB Auckland made the cut with Mini/SPCA ‘Driving Dogs’.
The Titanium Lions will be presented on Saturday night.

The fact that Small World Machines has been identified as scam doesn’t matter? They must be doing a seriously good job of sweeping it under the carpet.
Ummm… how is that integrated?
How does ‘Small World Machines’ qualify as an “integrated” campaign?
Hey ‘So …..’
i’m interested to know how you can scam something this big particularly for a big client like Coca Cola? From what i’ve seen and read the client was fully on board and pushed the idea. It’s not a pissy little print ad that no one has ever seen.
It has won many, many awards and I think i’ll trust the judgement and knowledge of the judges and not your flippant, silly, immature comments.
Well done Leo’s and McCann! Keep winning … make Australia proud.
How was it identified as a scam? Not a fan of it at all and would love to know if its another yank scam
There’s something very fishy about how much that idea is being rewarded.
1. Vending machines have been done before a million times
2. It screams scam
3. It’s just so horribly cynical and award-pandering
I love good work and am the first to congratulate the great stuff, but the success of this seems completely out of proportion to what it is. Sorry, but I smell a rat.
Coke really like these vending machine ideas that bring people together/ share etc.I wonder what the next instalment will be.
Check the sponsors list and ask why coke were awarded client of the year before the festival got underway.
As far as awards go, there are many pieces of work I like that aren’t awarded and many that are awarded I don’t like. Have an opinion and stick by it, hire people who’s work you like not people who’ve won a wheelbarrow full of awards doing shit you hate.
It’s the only way we can beat the system.
Hmmm, doesn’t seem like a scam to me.

Get over it. Stop the jealousy.
Doesn’t seem like a scam to me either:
