Following its recent world-first interactive exhibition featuring real-life retirees at the Australian Museum, MLC has now launched a new TVC, part of the ongoing campaign via Clemenger BBDO, Melbourne.
The “Let’s Save Retirement” campaign aims to encourage Australians to actively engage in preserving their retirement while retaining the choice of working into old age.

well – I like it.
How many times has this idea been done?

love the idea of the museum, nice idea, nicely produced.
Idea has been done many times before. But, as expected from Clems, a nice level of execution.
I’m not sure how I feel about ‘ads’ being a display at the museum. Not sure how the punters will react to that either.
It’s a little too close for comfort to the campaign M&C Saatchi Melbourne did for Save the Children in 2009 and 2010 (link in comment above).
Save the Children picked up the following awards:
2010 One Show Finalist – Print
2009 Capels – Silver – Print.
Yeah you know what tho, fuck M&C this looks better and the writing is better too. Am sure the idea was done before that.
Is that you Doogie? Here’s a biscuit pal!
i really like this. beautifully simple writing that supports a beautifully simple idea. can’t ask for much more than that
Here’s something Leo Premudico did in 2006 about the innocence of children being in danger of becoming extinct, in a museum.

Anyway, this is really nicely put together, and looks great. A very good way to promote a dull message. Clems always do it well. good stuff.
Can someone please tell me the target market for this? “Australians” is a little bit broad.
SURELY IT’S AUSTRALIANS HAVE A $1 TRILLION SUPER GAP, SINCE THE COUNTRY ITSELF CANNOT RETIRE….
Then we’d know who we’re talking to…
Done before is done before, no debates about how better is ok just coz it’s Clems.
And furby did it before that with Dunlop shoes ads.
