Cadbury goes in search of what joy sounds like with new TV commercial via DDB New Zealand

Screen shot 2011-02-16 at 6.44.04 AM.jpgWhat does joy sound like? With the help of Bobby McFerrin, DDB New Zealand created Cadbury's 'Share The Joy' campaign which set out to answer that question.

In their first TV ad they are sharing real New Zealanders' sounds of joy. It's a stunning montage of some of the best moments captured at Cadbury events and around New Zealand and the first of a campaign that will try to discover exactly what joy sounds like.

Since December 2010 Cadbury have been 'sharing the joy' with kiwis through a series of events across the country such as the noise activated Xmas house and the giant snow globe.

I saw this clip on TV Four on Monday night and I have to say I was really impressed. They've addressed Kiwiana without trying to be retro or making Kiwi's look backwards. It's a beautiful ad.

Leaves Gorilla for dead. Not a re-purpose of an earlier music vid for a start. Everyone should work with Chris Graham. He's a brilliant director, and he'll event make everyone a coffee
