Three days left to book tickets to 2018 AWARD School Graduation Nights to place in NSW, VIC, QLD, WA and SA @ 6.30pm on Thursday 26 July
Tickets for the 2018 AWARD School Graduation Night are still open, but with only 7 days remaining you will have to be quick to secure your spot at the anticipated event.
AWARD School state graduation nights will take place in NSW, VIC, QLD, WA and SA on Thursday 26 July from 6:30pm.
This year, the 1st place winners from each state will automatically qualify for the super jury round and will be flown to Sydney for the national announcement, to be held on Tuesday, 7 August. The national winner will visit Facebook Headquarters in Menlo Park, California for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with Facebook’s creative agency ambassador group.
This celebration is open to 2018 AWARD School students, family and friends, AWARD speakers, tutors, judges and The Communications Council’s corporate members.
Graduating students have already been placed on the guest list with a complimentary ticket, and there is no need to RSVP.
However, family, friends and industry members are encouraged to attend the graduation night in their state by purchasing a ticket before next week.

It’s pretty abhorrent that AWARD is charging for entrance to the graduation. And 30 dollars? As if it isnt enough of a money grab already. It only deters industry people from attending. Less work of juniors being seen. Nice.
Why should industry members pay to get harassed by juniors all night?
It used to be free.
AWARD School is one of the most enduring and useful things this industry ever created. And yes it used to be free for ECDs. AWARD also used to operate independently, but it didn’t make enough money and was folded into the Comms Council. Perhaps if they’d charged more for events they might still be independent. If you are an ECD and you don’t come to the graduation, purely because it costs you or your agency $30, you should be ashamed. Come along and get harassed by the students. One day one of them might even give you a job.
I’ll harass ECD’s for free on this night, for the rest of my life.
Harassed by juniors all night? There’s your creative department culture (or lack thereof) right there, Champ.
What an overly entitled toad you must be.
If you, or your poxy, bean-counting CFO won’t pay for you to attend the AWARD Graduation Show, where are you gonna rip off your next award-winning idea from?
So funny to read ECD comments here pretending that Advertising creative is still the hottest job in town.
Publisher, client and actual CREATIVE content makers (read: not ads) jobs are easier to get, pay more and have better working conditions.
If you don’t want to get an inside edge on the best new talent, who are eager to work in the industry – good luck to you.
Certainly a change from when I did award – the ECDs harasses the juniors back then 😉
@commentsection – So, this is what I’m getting myself into?
