Great spot. Take note, local clients & agencies.
Great script, lifeless execution.
A few Emperors losing their clothes lately.
lifeless execution?
interested to hear you back that up
These are great. Best I’ve seen in a while.
Caveat: I’m a golfer.

The ‘back-up’ is on the screen. There’s no spark here. No rhythm. It’s poorly cast and lazily directed. A couple of costumes and a hillside don’t make for a series of believable eras. It’s obvious the idea would have been funnier on paper and how you turn something this good into a something vaguely amusing is a mystery.
Spark? Rhythm? Poorly Cast and lazily directed? sounds like we could all learn something from you. I would genuinely love to know how you would have brought this script to life.
There are really great shots and good direction of the characters, but the edit is clunky. Why aren’t we with the characters a bit more in the edit? The idea is funny enough in itself that it doesn’t need to be funny with the edit and stay wide and kooky. Aussie editors offer a better result. Bring your projects home to cut.

the problem is the editors in the US don’t care what the director thinks, they just do what the Agency tell them to and take the cash.
