Untitled-1.jpgThe OTTO Empire’s founder and executive producer Jo de Fina has announced award-winning production company Station Film has partnered with OTTO for exclusive representation in Australia and New Zealand.

Home to some of North America’s most talented directors, including Brendan Gibbons, Justin Reardon, Mark Gilbert, Peking, Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, Scott Corbett and Allen Coulter (“House of Cards,” “Boardwalk Empire”), the Station Film roster is renowned for comedy, performance and visual storytelling.

482992807_960.jpgGibbons has filmed extensively in Australia. His “Legends of the Dry – Sheep Impact” work for Carlton Dry with Steven Seagal and Clemenger Melbourne, was especially well received and featured in Adweek as Spot of the Day. He’s also directed popular campaigns for Foxtel (Clemenger BBDO, Sydney), Nissan (Whybin TBWA Screen Shot 2014-07-21 at 3.34.47 pm.jpgMelbourne) and Mars (Clemenger BBDO Melbourne). Gibbons was so taken with both Aussie beer and Aussie comedy, he recently described Down Under as his spiritual comedy home, and a place he is always thrilled to work in.

Other directors at Station Film have also shown their love for the Australian market. The relationship between Station Film and OTTO goes back to another lifetime, when de Fina, lived and worked in New York. Coming full circle after 15 years, this alliance is a happy homecoming for both companies.

Says Steve Orent, founder/managing partner, Station Film: “We have enjoyed doing some very funny and creative work out of the Australian and New Zealand markets. We’re happy to shoot more great work Down Under and know we’re in great hands with Jo and OTTO.”

The addition of Station Film to OTTO’s repping roster further expands this division of the company. OTTO showcases some of the best overseas talent and companies Down Under in Australia, making access to international talent more streamlined.
