Subaru launches new spot for the 2013 Forester shot in Tasmania via Disciple, Sydney
Subaru has launched a new spot for the all-new 2013 Forester, which was shot in Tasmania, via Disciple, Sydney.
Says Peter Buckley, Disciple creative partner: “Subaru drivers are active people who participate in life. It seems every second Forester you see on the road has a bike, kayak or surfboard strapped to the roof. For the launch of the new Forester, we thought this insight would make a great basis for a story.”
Says Andrew Caie, Subaru general manager, marketing: “As the SUV market grows its being filled by lots of so called SUV products that are really pretenders, that look like they would go off road, but won’t. The New Forester is definitely not one of those. New Forester is an iconic Subaru, our highest selling model and it offers genuine SUV capability. That’s the story this TVC conveys with a lot more on top. It’s the real thing and it’s a cool idea that we think stands out in a competitive TV landscape that’s pretty bland.”

Can’t go wrong with that one. The Real Thing always works a treat when used in a straight-up way.
Wonderful 🙂
Nice and simple, strong idea well executed for the type of people that love those cars. Well done to all concerned.
I do not get it.

Well done 🙂
Impressive stuff but what is with that seriously bad color grading. So neon I nearly threw up.
Yet I still don’t get it or like it.
