The Lost Dogs Home launches new ‘Intervention’ TV spot on desexing pets via GPY&R Melbourne
GPY&R Melbourne is continuing its work with Australia’s biggest animal shelter, the Lost Dogs Home, with a new TVC about de-sexing your pet.
It aims to raise awareness with pet owners about the important decisions regarding their animals health. As a part of national desexing month the TVC was supported by BTL activity that better informs people about the long-term benefits of de-sexing. The campaign airs this weekend.

The analogy doesn’t work.
Liked it and just looked up the director, he is a gun, seriously good at ads.

@Old CD Guy
You’re damn right it doesn’t.
I think they were barking up the wrong tree.

What a shitsu of an idea.
Seriously good.And funny. Job done. Boom. Boom.
Aside from the fact that the analogy doesn’t work, an intervention as an idea is so well trodden. What a waste of a good brief.
Am i missing something? How would this convince anyone to get their pet desexed?
Well trodden ground… BIC ‘Hipstervention’ McCann… what a waste!
This tells me not to get my pet desexed because I wouldn’t MY balls cut off. We also need an intervention for people thinking of using the tired intervention trope.
