The Sweet Shop’s Sam Holst picks up Gold Film Lion for Otrivin/Saatchi & Saatchi, Switzerland
Hot on the heels of his short film ‘Meathead’ being chosen as one of only nine in the world to screen as part of the Official Selection – In Competition at the 64th Cannes Film Festival, The Sweet Shop director, Sam Holst, is still celebrating after picking up a Gold Film Lion in Cannes on Saturday for his contribution to the latest Otrivin campaign via Saatchi & Saatchi, Switzerland.
The campaign features the spots ‘Shoe Laces’ and ‘Classroom Craft’.
Meanwhile, ‘Meathead’ follows on its international success at the Cannes Film Festival to screen locally throughout July, with upcoming dates at the Melbourne International Film Festival (International Shorts Competition) and also the New Zealand International Film Festival (Homegrown Works on Film).

I think these are great. BUT I must admit i didn’t get the school girl one the first time i saw it. The change of scissors completely passed me by. Watched it the second time though and got it, loved it.
The bus stop one is a lot more obvious.
