Who’d have thought it, well done though.
Brilliant work. Well done guys.
Yes, somewhat surprising.
But they’ve won a few awards this year and the rest of their stuff is, if not top shelf, close enough that the Best Ads judges gave it a tickle.
You could make the argument that it is a better sign of an agency’s health to have a bunch of consistently good ads instead of one spectacular success like Best Job.
You could.
But who am I kidding. I’d rather have the Grand Prixes, and I’m sure so would Whybins.
9:13,
Pardon my ignorance but which awards?
Sirens?
Yep, they’ve done some really nice work and i’m sure they won’t rest on their laurels. I agree 9.13, i’m sure they would rather have a Grand Prix, but i’m equally sure they’ll be happy with this.
Horner’s hot.

Consider your ignorance pardoned.
A quick scan through the CB archives shows they won metal at CLIO and London and had multiple shortlists at One Show, Cannes and AWARD for the shows on Lynchy’s list, plus they picked up at the ADMA, Outdoors and of course the mighty Sirens.
How’d you go?
Not that well, my digital arm won heaps of awards and I took the credit for it.
how many of those were won by Tequila?
Some really nice work there, i especially liked the”Facebook’ ad and the Child abuse outdoor.
Tequilas only contribution was at the AMDA awards, for Nissan and Sony Playstation.
Actually, I think Tequila nabbed a bronze at London too, and I’m sure some other stuff.
Tequila haven’t really done much for ages…..except in DM.
I dunno. They won metal at One Show, Award and Cannes in recent years.
The Agency is called Whybin TBWA/Tequila and the truth is, they are doing some nice work, its the age of integration after all and they seem to be enjoying it.
It’s called WHYBIN/TBWA/TEQUILA. they’ve got great people there and they no longer have that bloody dragon on their backs – so let’s see what happens. From what I’ve heard they may continue to surprise the industry this year.
Nice one Gazza!!!!
Fuck ’em all.
Love u man.
Rock on.
Gaz give the guys some work to do these comments are boring. Well done.
How odd that this thread gets 1700% more comments than Colenso getting the overall prize. And undoubtedly Lynchy has held back a few too.
You lot are sad.
me lub gally.
Well done Horney!
