Youth Projects says homelessness is preventable in latest campaign via Grant Booker Creative
CB Exclusive – Independent not-for-profit organisation Youth Projects has launched a new campaign via Grant Booker Creative to help young people from sliding into homelessness.
Youth homelessness is preventable if we can stop it before it starts. Finishing an education, access to a job, better mental health and self confidence are the keys.
Youth Projects offers support and employment opportunities to at risk young people looking to re-engage with learning, and provides health care and assistance to members of our community experiencing homelessness and disadvantage.
Its broad range of services enables holistic approach to tackling disadvantage, homelessness and alcohol and other drugs issues.
Youth Projects provides non-judgemental service with a strong focus on harm minimisation and works with clients on a personalised, tailored basis to address complex issues.
But like all charities it needs donations because donations make an impact.
Says Melanie Raymond, chairperson, Youth Projects: “Nobody should feel the problem can’t be solved because it can. We have already directly helped over 300 teens at grave risk of homelessness to go back to study and secure a job in the past year, making sure their lives are changed forever. Grant and his team delivered a simple but compelling message. Many young Australians aren’t rejoicing and don’t see Australia as especially fair at the moment.
The campaign includes TV, online and social.

A great piece of filmmaking with pace and empathy.
Great work guys. Should be proud of that one.
So refreshing to see an ad that succinctly and simply gets a message across.
Well done guys. Emotive & totally effective.
‘A great piece of filmmaking with pace and empathy.’
Which is why it won’t change a thing.
To think otherwise is simply delusional.
